Wrzesień 1813 r. we wsi rozłożyły się obozem wojska rosyjsko-pruskie

pod dowództwem Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher.

Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher (wym. Gebard Lebareśt fon Blysia,

Gebhard Leberecht Fürst Blücher von Wahlstatt) (ur. 16 grudnia 1742 w

Rostocku, zm. 12 września 1819 w Krieblowitz k. Wrocławia) –

feldmarszałek pruski, dowódca armii pruskiej w bitwie pod

Waterloo, Kaczawą, Lipskiem, Budziszynem, Lützen,

Brienne-le-Château, Craonne, Laon, a także kampanii sześciodniowej.
